Teaching approach

There is not one way of teaching. There are not two ways either. I think there are a thousand ways of teaching piano or drums. To me, the fascinating part is this: trying to adjust according to the personality and wishes of the student. And I want to adjust so that we meet, so that we can have a conversation. Because teaching is communicating. We have to make the effort to go towards the other person, understand their journey in order to do the job of teaching. So I have to try to adjust according to their situation, their mood, their moment. Teaching is infinite and varied and never boring.

Teaching is a special moment built by the teacher and the pupil(s), one of those delicate and fragile thing people can do together, but it always carries a powerful message (for both parties): keep learning, never stop.
