When I first started my internet adventure, I had exactly one picture to display, not two, just one. That one:
It has stayed this way for close to 15 years. I suppose that this young man is now a fully grown up adult with a busy and happy life, at least that what I wish for him because he’s a great guy.
Recently, wanting to update my website, I decided to get a few more pics from my current students. I always ask permission before we go. I am always pleasantly surprised when people give me the green light and then ignore the camera, or try to ignore it as my wife capture them or us in the process of making them great musicians. My wife is the photographer, she has a loving eyes for her subjects and a good sense of light, angles, texture, etc. Yes, I know, I am very lucky.
We’ve been doing this for about 2 weeks now. We have to navigate with my wife’s schedule as sometimes she works when some students are coming on Wednesdays at 4:30 pm, for example. I was surprised that she hadn’t met some of my pupils that have been with me for up to two years.
Here are a few pictures to illustrate my writing:
There are a few more, but, apparently, this blog cannot contain them. So I am obliged to stop.
Also, we have not taken pictures of the ones I teach online. I think they wouldn’t look as good, and I don’t want to portray people unless it’s at their best.
My point is this: I feel very fortunate to have such a wonderful group of pupils. They entrust me with their passion for music and I can’t tell you how much I appreciate it. They are very dear to me. Thank you to all of them and to all who’ve ever came to my studio.
