When to start taking music lessons.

You start when you want to go to a concert and can’t wait to see the drummer or the piano player.

You start when you focus on that instrument at the concert.

You start when you like a song on the radio and bob your head to the beat.

You start when you can’t help but be interested in the latest info about the musician you like.

You start when you plan to go visit New Orleans.

Or Nashville.

Or Vienna, the one in Austria.

You start music lesson when you go to someone’s house and you are attracted to some old drum kit laying in the basement. You pick up a pair of sticks and the sound those tom make fills you with joy and pride.

You start when you go to someone’s house and you are attracted to some old piano sitting in a forgotten part of the living room, you pluck a few notes and you can’t help but smile at the beauty and sweetness of the sound you just made.

You start when you meet someone who’s studying music and her/his life is in great shape because of it.

You start when you have decided that, against all odds, you matter.

You start when your thoughts get swept away by some naïve melody playing in the elevator.

You start because it’s Monday, or Tuesday, or Wednesday… You get my drift.

You start because you’re happy, or sad, or emotional. Music welcomes it all.

You start because you want to feel alive.

You start because the journey will be worth it.

You start because you need to do something in your life.

You start because a journey of a thousand miles start with one step.

You start taking music lesson for the best reason in the world: you start because. Just because. No need to explain to anyone. You start.
