Adult piano student
I am an adult learner — self taught in multiple instruments with a basic grasp on many aspects of music theory from years of choir. While I considered piano one of my stronger instruments I realized very quickly with lessons from Sol how many domains of playing piano I knew nothing about and very quickly felt like a beginner all over again — something I needed to do to learn technique properly. Music lessons with Sol continue to be rewarding for my now 11 year old daughter, although she would never admit it! She started learning piano with Sol when she was almost 6 years old. What started off as a “new year’s resolution/new hobby” to try out for maybe 3 months to see if I like it, turned into 10 months of amazing lessons. I’ve taken a lot of music theory classes, piano lessons over a decade ago, guitar lessons as well, but Sol is just different.
